As part of Mimecast’s Global Go-To-Market Operations team, the Sales Operations Specialist will play an integral role in enabling Sales Directors, Sales Managers and Account Managers by providing data driven business insights and operational support. Said simply, this role will align the Sales Operation Specialist with one of our Go-To-Market teams as the key sales operations resource for their assigned segment of the business. The scope of the role would include providing consistent and timely reporting to the team and acting as a liaison for the team back to the larger Sales Operations function.
This is a high impact role, with quickly changing priorities and demands. The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy driving change in a business and seeing fast results. The successful candidate needs to be someone that is efficient, values accuracy and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get a job done. This candidate is also able to balance competing priorities while keeping the big picture in focus and shows ambition to grow both individually and as a part of a successful team.
The primary responsibilities include acting as a business partner for the Sales leaders and team and providing insights into the health of the business, the forecast, the pipeline, and various other KPIs. The secondary responsibilities include assisting with fiscal year planning, quota/territory setting, and ad-hoc sales-driven analytics and reporting projects. Success in the position will be measured based on progress against defined quarterly goals.
