Board Certified Behavior Analyst/ Consultant

  

We are seeking master’s level board certified behavior analyst (BCBA)/ consultant interested in gaining rich experience in community based social work to work as part of our ACCS Team.

 

ACCS provides wraparound support through an integrated team of both clinical and peer professionals.  The goals of the service include skill and resource development, connection with community and natural supports for successful tenure in the community of the individual’s choice.

The BCBA /Consultant will provide direct clinical assessment and intervention for people enrolled in the program, as well as consultation and support to the team.  The BCBA/Consultant will assist clinicians in assessment, identifying appropriate interventions, developing action plans, and providing review of action plans at least twice yearly.

Primary responsibilities for the BCBA/ consultant includes:

 

  • Collaborates with treatment team and other providers to establish treatment plan and disposition.
  • Provides direct therapeutic intervention.
  • Maintains regular communication with treatment team and collateral providers/case managers as necessary. This may include attending planning or case management meetings regarding individuals.
  • Involves families in evaluation, treatment planning and on-going treatment to the degree agreed upon with individual.
  • Completes all clinical documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, etc. as required by the program, funding sources and regulatory agencies in a complete, accurate and timely manner and in compliance with agency and relevant state protocols.
  • Complies with all mandated reporting regulations and requirements (DMH, DDS, DPPC, Elder Protective Services).
  • Reads and follows procedures as detailed in Riverside’s policy manuals and program policies and procedures.

 

 

Schedule: Full time; Flexible shifts available

 

Salary: $70,000/ annually

Required Skills
  • Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently.
  • Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license/certification in the individual’s professional discipline, including, but not limited to, continuing education, ethical requirements, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required.

 


Required Experience
  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or Counseling required.
  • At least two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.
  • Current certification or certification eligible by The Behavior Analyst Certification Board®, Inc.
