Clinical Support Manager- *Internal Only*

The primary responsibility of the Clinical Support Manager is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership to the clinical and administrative components of the MCI/CCS/Respite teams regarding all matters related to billing, insurance, and encounter forms. The focus is to improve the operational systems, processes, and practices in support of the programs’ goal to maximize revenue and achieve better reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning. The Clinical Support Manager works within the MCI and CCS components of the CBHC to ensure that all insurance information is entered into the EHR correctly and that billing is completed appropriately and in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with Third Party on Insurance Verifications, obtaining and tracking treatment authorizations (when applicable), overseeing clients’ self-pay accounts, and updating the third-party billing office of eligibility changes. The Clinical Support Manager also runs reports, including held claims and unbilled services reports weekly and oversees the rectification of any errors with the MCI/CCS leadership. Performs other front office support tasks as needed.
