Respite/Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Counselor - Full Time - Milford
Seeking organized, energetic, and thoughtful respite counselors to help ease people in crisis back into the community!
This is a great entry-level opportunity to join our organization as Respite/CCS Mental Health Counselor. The candidate would work as part of our cohesive, experienced, multi-disciplinary team to help consumers transition back into the community.
Primary responsibilities include participation in and implementation of daily operations, ensuring quality of care, intake of new consumers, implementation of treatment plans, facilitation of groups, along with supervision and assurance of consumer safety and stabilization. Employees in this position will be required to perform occasional visits to people served, in home, to assess their needs.
This is an excellent way to gain experience in the mental health field. Riverside Community Care provides orientation, training, supervision, and opportunities to advance to all its employees.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Required Skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for local travel
Required Experience
- Associate's degree with one year experience required or High School Diploma and three years related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in a mental health setting strongly preferred
