Posted: 01/18/2023

Exciting opportunity for a Family Partner to join our adolescent Life Skills Center programs in Milford and Needham!

The Life Skills Center offers therapeutic groups and activities designed to accommodate adolescents with significant mental health challenges who are experiencing disruptions in their home, school, or community. Our goal is to help adolescents develop sustainable skills and insight to live and function safely.

In this vital role, the Family Partner works in partnership with the Program Director, Life Skills clinical team to provide education, coaching/training, and support to parents/caregivers of a youth participating in Life Skills.

The Family Partner:

  • collaborates with clinical staff to assist parent with helping youth achieve treatment goals both in the milieu and in the home
  • educates parents/caregivers about how to effectively navigate the child-serving systems for themselves and about the existence of informal/community resources available to them and facilitates the parent’s/caregiver’s access to these resources

Schedule: Part Time - 20 hours per week
