Senior Emergency Services Clinician

 

Join our Behavioral Health Services Division at Riverside Community Care!

  

Join our growing Emergency Services team working in a fast-paced environment to develop and sharpen your clinical skills--evaluating a broad range of individuals of varying ages, backgrounds and clinical presentations.  

 

In this vital role, the Senior Emergency Services Clinician participates in the daily operation of Emergency Services (ES), including telephone triage, crisis intervention (including evaluation, stabilization, referral and follow-up) on-site, in the community and in emergency departments.

 

In addition, the Senior Emergency Services Clinician provides ongoing support and evaluation of Community Crisis Stabilization Unit consumers and acts as liaison with community providers for continuity of care. The Senior Clinician also supports the management team by consulting with clinicians in the field and approving section 12's.

Required Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

Required Experience
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related human service field
  • For the purposes of reviewing and approving Section 12s, independent licensure (LICSW) is required.
  • Two years experience in the field of mental health and specifically in Emergency Services
  • For providing mobile crisis intervention services to children/youth under 21, at least one year of experience working with children, adolescents and families is required; two or more years is preferred.
